The Beaufort Jasper Housing Trust (BJHT) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to develop affordable housing in Beaufort and Jasper Counties in South Carolina, USA.
BJHT is providing US$1 million to support the development of around 130 new rental homes. These funds are earmarked for constructing new multifamily affordable rental housing units, either through new construction or adapting existing structures. Applicants can seek funding up to the lesser of US$400,000 or US$9,000 per affordable rental home, catering to households with incomes at or below 80% of the area median income (AMI).
