Infrastructure Ontario (IO) has closed the request for proposals (RFP) stage for The Ottawa Hospital (TOH) Civic Campus Redevelopment Project in Canada.

The upcoming Ottawa Hospital campus will serve as a leading acute care academic hospital, fostering the training of future healthcare professionals and driving groundbreaking research. This facility will house a trauma center for Eastern Ontario, expanding healthcare services for Ottawa, Eastern Ontario, Western Quebec, and Nunavut. It will offer specialized services, outpatient clinics, and advanced programs for complex injuries and illnesses.

The Development Partner announcement is slated for early 2024, with construction scheduled after the Development Phase, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, IO, and TOH.
