Gauteng Provincial Government has relocated the departments to newly constructed government buildings in South Africa.

The joint headquarters campus of the Department of Social Development and National Development Agency aims to offer a permanent and tailored environment for improved service provision and streamlined operations. This initiative is overseen through a collaboration between the National Treasury agency and the Government Technical Advisory Centre under a public-private partnership. Additional project elements encompass the provision of office facilities, commercial and residential spaces, retail outlets, open areas, schools, and healthcare services. The project places emphasis on environmental sustainability and local contributions. Furthermore, integrated public and non-motorized transport systems will be prioritized.
