Rejuvenated interest in NYC to Boston High speed rail project

Under the new administration Government of the USA has rejuvenated its interest to connect New York City to Boston with High-speed rail which will travel at a speed over 200 mph, cutting the current 3.5 hours journey to 1.5 hours. The project will have 16- mile long underwater tunnel at Long Island Sound. The University of Pennsylvania has developed the latest model for the project, which is estimated to cost US$ 100 billion.
