Refinancing completed for Nusantara I Satellite PPP project

Pasifik Satelit Nusantara (PSN has completed the refinancing process for the concession of the Nusantara I Satellite project in Indonesia.

PSN has officially appointed IIF, Bank BCA and PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (SMI), which signed the refinancing agreement, as the Joint Mandated Lead Arrangers and Bookrunners (JMLAB). Indonesia Infrastructure Finance (IIF) provided IDR500 billion (US$33.28 million) for the refinancing processes.

Nusantara I Satellite has been in operation since 2019 after a successful launch by SpaceX from Kennedy Space Center in Orlando. The satellite has a capacity of 26 C-band transponders and 12 Extended C-band transponders as well as 8 Ku-band spot beams with a total bandwidth capacity of up to 15 Gbps, with coverage throughout the whole of Indonesia.
