The government of Pakistan has signed a development agreement for a 1,000-acre Rashakai special economic zone (SEZ) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The area will be developed in three phases. The project will be developed under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company will be responsible for the implementation of the SEZ area.
