E.E. Cruz has declared the operation stage of the Rahway Valley Sewerage Authority Wastewater Treatment Plant in Union County, New Jersey, USA.
The construction efforts encompassed substantial upgrades across the primary, secondary, and tertiary treatment facilities. Notably, a new headworks facility was constructed, along with a new primary settling tank. Upgrades to the aeration system were also undertaken, along with the creation of new final settling tanks. Further enhancements included the establishment of a new effluent sand filter facility, a UV disinfection chamber, and an effluent pump station. A new cascade aeration station was also constructed as part of the improvements. Additionally, the project encompassed the construction of a new rotary drum building. These developments have modernized and expanded the plant's capabilities, enabling it to handle higher volumes of sewage and providing enhanced treatment processes for the community's wastewater.
