The Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) has lifted the suspension ban of the builder license imposed to the construction firm, Laing O'Rourke, after resolving its financing issue.
The QBCC has suspended the company's license after the disclosed financing concerns. Laing O’Rourke acts as a managing contractor to Queensland's Australia-Singapore Military Training Initiative Facilities project works at the Shoalwater Bay Training Area in the central area.
On March 13, QBCC spokesman has revealed the lifting of the suspension following the increase of AUD32 million (US$22.65 million) in equity held by Laing O’Rourke.
