Qatar launches Package 1 of school PPP development programme

The Government of Qatar has launched Package 1 of its school development programme under the public-private partnership (PPP) scheme. 

The Package 1 includes the development, design, build, finance, operation, management, and transfer of the following establishments: 

  1. Secondary school in Al Wakra (Approx site area: 25,141 sq m)
  2. Preparatory school in Al Khisa/ Rawadat Al Hamam (Approx site area: 29, 375)
  3. Secondary school in Umm Salal Mohammed (Approx site area: 19, 426 sq. m)
  4. Preparatory school in Bu Fesseela (Approx site area: 27, 543 sq. m)
  5. Primary school in Al Wukair (Approx site area: 29,717 sq. m)
  6. Secondary school in Al Khisa/ Rawadat Al Hamam (Approx site area: 38, 569 sq.m)
  7. Primary school in Al Wukair (Approx site area: 33, 885 sq.m)
  8. Secondary school in Rawdat Al Naisar (Approx site area: 24, 693 sq.m)

The selected developer will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the hard and soft Facilities Management services such as ICT and Telecommunications, Health and Safety Management, Building, Installations, and Assets Management, and etc. 

The deadline for the submission of the documents is on March 10, 2019.
