Qatar launched RFQ for Al Wakra & Al Wukair waste treatment facility project

The Government of Qatar has launched a request for qualification (RFQ) for the development of Al Wakra & Al Wukair waste treatment facility in Doha. 

The project is designed to accommodate up to 150,000 cubic meters of sewage per day. It includes the provision of a terminal Terminal Pump Station, Wakra Sewage Treatment Works and Treated Sewage Effluent management facilities to produce high-quality Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) and to produce treated sludge that can be disposed of in a landfill, used as fertilizer, or incinerated as needed.

The deadline for the submission of the documents for tender is on May 14, 2019.
