The National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES), through the State Secretariat for Infrastructure and Mobility (Seinfra), has announced the Highway Concessions in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil.
The project is planned to be developed under public private partnership (PPP) model. The Highway is expected to be approximately 432.8 km, located between São Sebastião do Paraíso and Três Corações, covering 22 municipalities. The consortium will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and conservation services of the stretches over a 30-year concession period.
The estimated cost of the Project is US$485.52 million, with US$ 242.76 million in the first eight years, including duplication stretches. The auction is scheduled for March 8, 2023, at the São Paulo Stock Exchange (B3).
