The Government of Minas Gerais, through the Secretary of State for Infrastructure and Mobility (Seinfra), has opened a public consultation for the Belo Horizonte metro expansion PPP project.
The project, structured by the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES), involves the modernization and expansion of Line 1 and the completion of the construction of Line 2, as well as the operation of services for 30 years. The project aims to attract the private sector for the expansion and operation of the transport system, to improve its efficiency and modernize the metro with new technologies.
The deadline to submit proposals for improvements and alterations to the studies and documents under consideration is December 10, 2021. Public consultation and information about the concession are available here.
