The Municipality of Lajeado has launched a public consultation for a street lighting public-private partnership (PPP) concession in Lajeado, Brazil.
The concession involves the implementation, maintenance, operation and exploitation of the intelligent public lighting network, as well as the energy efficiency of buildings linked to the public administration of the Municipality. The estimated investment value for the project is BRL200 million (US$38.12 million) including BRL70 million (US$13.34 million) investment planned in the first three years. The operational cost will be approximately BRL80 million (US$15.25 million) over a period of 20 years.
The public consultation period is open until July 25, 2022. The comments, inquiries and requests can be submitted via email at ppp@lajeado.rs.gov.br.
