Caxias do Sul City Hall has presented details of the Public lighting public-private partnership (PPP) project and digital clock concession in the Municipality of Caxias do Sul, Brazil.
The Public lighting PPP project involves the replacement of 50,000 lighting points with LEDs, which include street lighting, squares, parks and public buildings and telemanagement on the main roads of Caxias do Sul. The lighting points will be managed by the concessionaire company, which will also be responsible for pruning vegetation that interferes with the lighting points. The contract duration is 24 years.
The second project involves the concession of 40 watches in the Municipality, 18 of which have cameras attached and five have free Wi-Fi. Of the total number of clocks, 35 will have a pre-defined installation location and five will be in charge of the company that has the concession.
The project is open for public consultation for 30 days starting from September 13, 2022.
The ecotourism company Fronteiras Navegações e Turismo, of the Macuco Safari Group, has won the concession for the Turvo State Park in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
