The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center of the Philippines participated as a resource speaker in a public consultation organized by the Baguio City Council for the Baguio City Public Market Redevelopment PPP project.
The PPP Center remains committed to assisting the local government in ensuring that the implementation of its PPP projects aligns with the requirements of the PPP Code and its IRR.
The plan involves constructing a seven-story building on the current market site. The design includes:
The project's budget is approximately PHP 4.5 billion (US$ 78 million). The City Government of Baguio oversees the project, with SM Prime Holdings, Inc. as the private sector partner. The partnership operates under a lease agreement.
