The Government of Indonesia has assigned PT Danareksa Persero to manage IDR15 trillion (US$962.1 million) Indonesia Water Fund to invest in projects to provide clean water access across the archipelago.
The funds are sourced from private investors from Indonesia and abroad, it intends to help the government improve clean water access without increasing the burden on the state budget.
The funds will be used by the infrastructure division of Danareksa, PT Nindya Karya, and the distributor divisions Perum Jasa Tirta 1 and Perum Jasa Tirta 2, to construct water access facilities around the nation.
