Proposals submitted for multibillion Rolling stock PPP project in Canada
Infrastructure Ontario has closed the Request for Proposals stage for the Ontario Line South project and Rolling Stock, Systems, Operations and Maintenance (RSSOM) project in Canada.
Six teams have successfully submitted their proposals:
- Community Transit Link, ON-Linx and Ontario Transit Group for the Ontario Line South project;
- Connect 6ix, ONConnects and ONLineLinx for the RSSOM project.
The selected bidder will be responsible for the design, building and finance of the Ontario Line South project and the design, build, finance, operation and maintenance of the Ontario Line Rolling Stock, Systems, Operations and Maintenance (RSSOM) project.
Submissions will be evaluated and the successful proponents for both projects are expected to be announced in fall 2022.
