The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) of India has approved a proposal for Dholera International Airport located in Gujarat, India.
The airport will be located approximately 80 km from Ahmedabad International Airport in Gujarat and will have the capacity to handle 300,000 passengers annually, in addition to 20,000 tonnes of cargo.
The estimated investment value for the project is INR13.05 billion (US$167.24 million). The construction works for the project are expected to be completed within 48 months. The project is planned to be operational in 2025-26.
