Project management consultancy contract signed to upgrade Mongla Port

EGIS India Consulting Engineers Pvt. Ltd. has signed a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services contract with Mongla Port Authority (MPA) for the upgradation of the Mongla port in Bangladesh.

The funding for this project is secured through India's concessional Line of Credit (LOC), which amounts to USD4.5 billion and has been extended to Bangladesh. Within the total project cost of USD530 million under the Government of India's concessional Line of Credit, the contract for Project Management Consultancy (PMC) has been awarded to EGIS India Consulting Engineers Ltd., and its value stands at USD9.60 million. Key features and information about Mongla Port:
