Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) with Khalifa University of Science and Technology (Khalifa University), has awarded KUnnected Living, a consortium led by Plenary Group, BESIX Group and Mazrui International, a project to develop student accommodation facilities in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The project involves a 23-year concession to design, build, finance, and maintain 3,260 student rooms and communal facilities across Khalifa University’s Main Campus and its Sas Al Nakhl (SAN) Campus. The new facilities will feature technology-enabled ensuite rooms for undergraduates and ensuite studios for post-graduate students. Additionally, they will include expansive communal spaces with support services, central study areas, fitness studios, a gym, and commercial and retail areas. These new student accommodation facilities are a key component of Khalifa University’s 10-year strategic growth plan to enhance and modernize its teaching, research, and living offerings.
