The PROINVERSIÓN has announced that it will promote the execution of the new Military Hospital that will require US$ 250 million located in Jesús María (Av. Faustino Sánchez Carrión with Av. Brasil, Cdra. 27 and 28) in Peru.
PROINVERSIÓN will design the concession contract, develop the financial-economic model, and establish the contract payment mechanism, as well as identify the risks to be assumed by the State and the private operator. The contract will also address social and environmental aspects. The green coat and gray coat services to be concessioned include hemodialysis, clinical laboratory, sterilization, and maintenance and conservation of the building and facilities. Additionally, it covers the acquisition, maintenance, and replacement of clinical and non-clinical equipment, information and communications technology services, provision and availability of technological infrastructure, food, laundry and clothing, cleaning and vector management, security and surveillance, warehouse management, and solid waste disposal.
The concession period is set for 30 years, with 4 years for design and construction, and 26 years for operation and maintenance. An initial version of the contract will be available by the end of 2024, and the project is expected to be declared of interest in Q1 of 2025.
