The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN) has planned to award 5 key PPP projects and Projects in Assets (PA), with an investment amount of more than US$ 600 Million in Peru.
The following strategic projects are to be awarded:
- Two Radioelectric Spectrum Bands AWS-3 and 2.3 GHz Projects valued US$ 268 million
The AWS-3 Band consists of two blocks: Block A with a 2x15 MHz allocation and Block B with a 2x15 MHz allocation. The 2.3 GHz Band has a single block of 30 MHz. These bands, play a vital role in enhancing 4G mobile services, enabling improved communication quality, access to information, distance education (tele-education), and telehealth services.
- Puerto Maldonado Wastewater Treatment Plant (PTAR Puerto Maldonado) project valued US$86 Million
This project aims to expand sewerage service coverage through the construction of secondary networks and home connections. By treating all wastewater from Tambopata and El Triunfo urban areas, it will contribute to the decontamination of the Tambopata and Madre de Dios rivers. It is part of the efforts by Construction and Sanitation to address water, sewerage, sewage treatment, and stormwater drainage needs in Puerto Maldonado.
- Two hospital projects in Piura and Chimbote valued US$323 Million
This project aims to offer a range of services including hemodialysis support, imaging and laboratory diagnosis (green coat services), as well as general laundry, food, security, solid waste management and handling, cleaning, maintenance, equipment acquisition and maintenance, and intrahospital logistics (gray coat services).
