ProInversion, on behalf of the Fund for Investment in Telecommunication (FITEL), a legal entity under public law attached to the Ministry of Transport and Communication, made the call for the Special Public Bid for the selection of legal entities or consortium, national or foreign, will receive financing from the resources of FITEL for the execution of the process.
FITEL's request to ProInversion include to the private investment promotion process the Installation projects (or creation) of the Broadband for Comprehensive Connectivity and Social Development for Ancash, Arequipa, La Libertad, Huánuco, Pasco and San Martin regions.
The projects will combine high capacity and speed (fiber optics) in a transportation network owned by the State and wireless access networks that will incorporate and provide wide band telecommunications services for beneficiary towns. The access network nodes will be connected to the distribution and connection nodes to reach final users in beneficiary localities.
