The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) has announced that 40% of construction work has been completed for the Great Hospital of Coronel Oviedo in Caaguazu, Paraguay.
The tasks carried out by the responsible consortium Jiménez Gaona and Lima SA Consortium - Itasa - Proel Ingeniería MMSA are:
- reinforced concrete structures, placement of insulation, plastering, placement of subfloors, floors and masonry;
- metal carpentry works, such as sheet metal frames, perimeter fencing, trapezoidal fabric, placement of hydraulic installations, sewer and storm drainage installations, electrical installation, and fire prevention systems; and
- the effluent treatment plant, on the oxygen generating plant and treatment of bio infectious waste, as well as on weak signals, videos and the heliport.
MOPC awarded this work -via Resolution No. 185/2021 for an amount of PYG 151,247,999,999 (US$ 20.41 million).
