Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) in Paraguay has reported the progress on Bioceánica Bridge public-private partnership (PPP) project.
The construction of Bioceánica Bridge, which will link the cities of Carmelo Peralta (Alto Paraguay) and Puerto Murtinho (Brazil), is currently in the stage of drilling of the piles, accompanied by strict quality control of the reinforced concrete used. The implantation of the piles began in May, using six 20-m long drills, and progressing today.
The project is under strict quality control, the company in charge of the project, PYBRA Consortium, is being supervised by the PROINTEC Consortium, both are under the general supervision of MOPC and ITAIPU Binacional.
