Two new educational campuses in Vienna (Austria) have launched life-cycle projects, guaranteeing optimal conditions for 25 years.

The PPP project, known as Rappachgasse and Landgutgasse educational campus, was awarded to the consortium formed by Caverion, STRABAG Real Estate and HYPO NOE Leasing. The project includes two facilities for up to 1,900 children, covering daycare, elementary and secondary schools. Both sites are expected to be in operation by the start of the 2023/2024 school year.

Caverion is responsible for the design and construction of technical solutions for the buildings, such as heating and sanitation, ventilation, air conditioning and electricity. It also includes the implementation of sustainable energy generation systems with geothermal energy and efficient heat pump systems. In addition, the company will be responsible for the operation and technical maintenance of the campuses for a 25-year period.
