The Department for Transport (DfT) of the UK has announced its plans for the Heathrow Rail Link PPP project. DfT will provide further guidance to the market regarding the commercial direction and next steps as well as the selection process for a development partner in summer 2021.
The selected private partner will be responsible for financing the southern rail link to Heathrow airport. Along with raising the money, the private partner will work on the construction, operation and testing of the line.
