The Infrastructure Ministry of the government of Greece has commissioned a consultant to support the preparation and tender of a new marina project in northeast Attica. The project will be implemented using a public-private partnership (PPP) investment model.
This follows a study of the Attica region, commissioned by the Ministry, that found that there are no properly licensed marinas in the north-east.
The site selected for the new marina is Nea Makri, which is part of the Marathon municipality.
