The Town of Longboat Key, located on the central-west coast of Florida, has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the delivery of high-tech, connected smart street light, and smart poles to the streets of the town.
The street lighting assets are intended to provide the town with a next-generation street lighting system with remote management capabilities, and which can support the coming wave of small-cell deployment. Further, these assets should provide Longboat Key with infrastructure to support Smart Town and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.
