Shenzhen Das Intellitech Co., Ltd. (SDI) has announced that it has signed a PPP contract to finance, construct, handover, operate and maintain the first phase of Shannan New District General Hospital, Huainan City, Anhui Province, eastern China.
SDI has signed the contract alongside consortium partner China Construction First Bureau (Group) Co., Ltd. (CCFR) with the Huainan City Health and Family Planning Commission. CCFR is a subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC).
The construction area of the project is 161,900 square meters. The facilities to be delivered include outpatient, inpatient emergency and medical technology departments, as well as administrative logistics and an underground parking lot. The hospital will be equipped with "smart" technology, such as a Smart Pharmacy OTC Vending Machine.
The construction period is three years and the operation period is 12 years. The estimated construction cost is CNY1.08 billion (US$157 million).
