Leicester City Council has issued a Prior Information Notice to consult the market in relation to its waste management contract(s), including, but not limited to household waste collections, disposal and treatment; recycling, food waste collection and associated services.
The current provision is delivered via an Integrated Waste Management contract. This PFI arrangement expires in May 2028. This is a soft market test, not a competitive process. It's an engagement exercise to gather market input. The total contract value will depend on the scope and duration of the contracts tendered. Suppliers can access and submit responses via the portal by noon on Monday, 11th November 2024. This is the second market engagement following a prior exercise (PAN3002) and builds on previous input. All interested suppliers are encouraged to participate.
