Prior information notice issued for railway line modernization project in Serbia

Serbian Railways Infrastructure Joint-stock company has issued Prior information notice for the reconstruction and modernization of the railway line Niš-Dimitrovgrad – Section Bypass of Niš in Serbia.

The procurement encompasses design-build activities for the construction of a new railway bypass in Niš, as well as the reconstruction and modernization of the railway section connecting the Crveni Krst station to the new bypass. The scope of the procurement includes:

  • Preparation of design documentation in compliance with Serbian legislation;
  • Construction of a new electrified railway bypass in Niš, spanning approximately 22 km from the "Niš ranžirna" station, including structures and facilities;
  • Reconstruction and modernization of the permanent way and electrification of the railway section from the "Crveni Krst" station to the "Pantelej" station (connecting the Niš railway node to the new bypass), covering approximately 6 km; and
  • Reconstruction and modernization of the "Niš" traction substation (110/25 kV).
