Prince Georges County Public Schools (PGCPS) announced that it will hold Industry Day on April 17, 2019 for the developers interested in submitting the proposals to participate in the public-private partnership (PPP) school construction process. The aim of PGCPS is to utilize innovative PPP approaches to renovate, maintain or build new schools. The initiative from PGCPS is expected to result in 18 school development by 2026.
In the event of Industry Day, a session will be held covering various topics PPP topics, including design, construction, financing, and maintenance. An RFQ will be launched later in spring. All companies are encouraged to register in advance for inclusion on a partnering list to be shared with all participants.
