President Zelenskyy sings new PPP legislation
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed the Draft Law of Ukraine on public-private partnership (PPP) long-term liabilities (No. 5090).
The law will allow private partners to obtain guarantees from the government to will fulfill its obligations related to PPPs, as well as obtain state support for PPP implementation, including availability payments.
The adoption of this law aims at attracting investment in PPP projects, financing infrastructure modernization, in addition to the creation of socially significant new facilities.
