The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN) has restarted the process of prequalifying bidders for the Ancón Industrial Park (PIA) project in Lima, Peru.
There are now 6 companies who have expressed interest in working on the project, but the goal is to bring together more businesses that specialize in creating industrial parks around the globe to up the competition. The PIA, whose adjudication is set for the 2nd semester of 2023, will support the creation of businesses that provide goods and services, create jobs, open up new chances for growth and advance North Lima's urban development.
It will be built on land that will be transferred to a private party under a transfer contract with an investment commitment and is now controlled by the Ministry of Production (PRODUCE).
