The Ministry of Public Works and Communications has announced that Construction work continues on Lot 1 of the route that leads to Puerto Indio, in the department of Alto Paraná, Paraguay.
The contractor Roggio e Hijos SA, is undertaking roadwork in the sector from 0 km to 27 km. The project involves clearing the strip and both sides of the runway, removing organic matter from 20 km to 21 km at a pace of approximately 120 linear meters/day. Additionally, leveling, release, material loading, and processing occur from 17 km to 19 km on tracks spanning around 300 m. The primary goal of this significant road project is to enhance the existing road in the urban and rural areas of the superhighway junction section - Puerto Indio, linking the towns of Mbaracayú, General Díaz, Procopio, and Puerto Indio.
