Preferred Proponent Selected for South Niagara Hospital PPP Project

Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and Niagara Health have selected EllisDon Infrastructure Healthcare (EDIH) as the preferred proponent to further develop the South Niagara Hospital public-private partnership (PPP) project in Canada.

EDIH will design, build, finance and maintain the project. The project team consists of lead applicants EllisDon Capital Inc. & Plenary Americas LP, design team Parkin Architects Ltd. & Adamson Associates Architects, the constructor of EllisDon Corporation and financial adviser to EllisDon Capital Inc. Io and Niagara Health are working on the completion of the details of the contract with EDIH. 

The financial closure of the project is expected at the beginning of 2023, after which the cost of the contract will be known and the construction of the hospital will begin.
