Redland City Council has announced Consolidated Properties Group (CPG) as the preferred development partner to deliver the multi-storey car park and retail precinct within the Weinam Creek Priority Development Area (PDA) in Queensland, Australia.
The development of the commercial precinct entails the construction of a multi-level parking facility and designated retail space, catering to a grocery outlet and specialty stores. Over the next two to three years, the Marina Redland Bay redevelopment, located within the Weinam Creek Priority Development Area (PDA), will unfold in stages. This initiative aims to deliver additional parking spaces, enhancements to travel and transport facilities, an activated foreshore with increased open space, revitalized parks, upgraded road infrastructure to alleviate traffic congestion, and the introduction of retail spaces, restaurants, and cafes. The upcoming phase of the project will involve detailed design, where CPG will present a proposed design for the multi-story parking structure and retail precinct, specifying the number of secure parking spaces allocated for Southern Moreton Bay Island commuters.
