Preferred bidder selected for Multi-Purpose Terminal project at Port of Kribi

Port Autonome de Kribi in Cameroon has selected the Philippines-based port management company International Container Terminal Services (ICTSI) as a preferred bidder for the development of Multi-Purpose Terminal project at Port of Kribi. The project includes the development, maintenance, and operation of a multi-purpose terminal at Port of Kribi. Port of Kribi is a newly built port with a deep draft located in the south-eastern coast of Cameroon. The multi-purpose terminal will have 265 meters long berth and 10 hectares yard.

The concession period for the project is 25 years. Both parties will now engage in concession contract negotiations before signing the final contract. ICTSI already has concession of Africa Gateway Terminal in Sudan, ICTSI D.R. Congo S.A. and Madagascar International Container Terminal in Africa.  With this deal ICTSI is expanding its footprint in Africa.
