Preferred bidder selected for Madinah 3 ISTP in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC) has announced the Preferred and Reserved Bidders and their Levelized Water Cost for the Madinah 3 ISTP project in Saudi Arabia. These are the bidders:

  • Preferred Bidder- Acciona, Tawzea and Tamasuk with the Levelized cost of 1.2157 SAR/m3;
  • Reserved Bidder- Aqualia, Alfanar and Al Khorayef with the Levelized cost of 1.5993 SAR/m3. 

Located in Madinah Munawara, the Madinah 3 Independent Sewage Treatment Plants PPP project will have a capacity of 200 thousand m3/Day. The selected partner will be responsible for the design, construction, finance and operation of the project for a period of 25 years and its further transfer to the authority.
