Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and the Ministry of the Attorney General (MAG) selected Trans/FORM as the preferred bidder to design, build and finance the Brampton Courthouse Addition Phase 2 and Toronto Region Bail Centre project. IO and MAG will now work to finalize contract details with Trans/FORM. The project is expected to reach a financial close in the coming weeks.

The Courthouse Addition Phase 2 involves the fit-out of the remaining shelled floors of the addition, floors 3, 4, 5 and 6 (approx. 97,000sq.ft), and the partial renovation of the existing courthouse (approx. 13,000sq.ft). While the Region Bail Center project involves the renovation/modification of select spaces within the existing courthouse building. This includes the renovation of administration space, the addition of in-custody interview cubicles, and other minor modifications.
