The Oman Power and Water Procurement Company (OPWP) has awarded the concessions for Al Ghubrah III and Barka IWP plants to GS Inima Environment. The preferred bidder will finance and operate the plants for 20 years.
Al Ghbrah III independent water plant involves the development of a desalination plant with a capacity of approximately 300,000 m3 per day. Which will provide enough water for 1 million people.
Independent water plant at Barka involves the development of a desalination plant with a capacity of approximately 100,000 m3 per day.
