The Dare County has announced the selection of consortium Coastal Affordable Housing as a preferred bidder for the development of Essential and Workforce Housing projects in Dare County, the USA. The project has received US$35 million in funding from the state budget of the County.
The scope of work includes the construction of up to 400 housing units by the end of 2023. These units will be a mix of 1, 2, and 3 bedroom housing units. Once awarded, the consortium will enter into a 25-year agreement with the authority to own and operate the project, with the possibility to renew for additional 5 years.
