The Ireland’s National Development Finance Agency (NDFA) has awarded the EUR600.4 million (USD639 million) Higher Education Bundle 1 Public-Private Partnership (PPP) to the Enbarr Education Consortium in Ireland.
The Higher Education Authority is the Sponsoring Agency, which worked with the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science as Approving Authority. The project will be funded by AIB, Bank of Ireland, Nord/LB, Korea Development Bank and Norinchukin Bank; comprising Macquarie Capital Group Ltd. (equity provider), JJ Rhatigan & Company (construction contractor) and Sodexo (facilities management).
The project involves the design, construction, financing, operation, and maintenance of six new buildings across multiple campuses in the eastern, southern and midlands regions.
