The State of Israel is inviting Pre-Qualifications for the finance, design, construction, operation and maintenance (for a period of about 25 years), and transfer to the State of Israel, of a sea-water desalination facility north of Acre city in the region of the Western Galilee. The plant's output capacity to produce drinking water will be at least 100 million cubic meters per year. The plant will use reverse osmosis technology to desalinate water from the Mediterranean Sea.
The Pre-Qualification Submission deadline is on August 6, 2020.
