The local government of Quezon City (Philippines) together with the PPP Center conducted a pre-bid conference for the Quezon City Integrated Solid Waste Management Facility PPP Project on November 22, 2018 at Quezon City Hall.
The pre-bid conference is a venue for private sector participants to seek clarification and information on the PPP project and process.
In March 2017, the City Government granted Original Proponent Status to Metro Pacific Investments Corporation, Covanta Energy LLC, and Macquarie Capital Limited for its unsolicited proposal of the project. On 12 October 2018, the City Government and the Original Proponent signed a Joint Certification of Successful Negotiation.
