"National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), the government-run agency responsible for development of highways in the country, plans to change the revenue sharing model in favour of private developers to attract investments. It may allow a concessionaire to recover its investment and make profit for a longer period by dropping `the review sharing clause' from the existing model agreement. The model allows concessionaire to keep the entire revenue until it reaches projected daily traffic on the highway and remains at the level for three successive years."As I already wrote, India is making a huge bet for PPP's with National Higways Authority of India's BOT program and I hope it is a winner one. They want their infrastructure to be built by private investors, they know what they want and so they act.See more @InfraPPP India
