The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has issued a Request for Qualification (RFQ) for New York’s Midtown Bus Terminal storage, staging and ramps project in New York, USA.

This terminal facilitates bus services connecting New York City with various destinations in New Jersey and other nearby areas. It offers amenities such as ticketing counters, waiting areas, restrooms, and retail shops for passengers' convenience. Additionally, the terminal provides important information regarding bus schedules, routes, and services for commuters.

The Port Authority intends to initiate the initial phases of its procurement process for the Deck-Overs and Phase 1 (Storage and Staging Facility / Ramps) of the project. By commencing these early stages of procurement, which include solicitation, evaluation, negotiation, and contractor selection, alongside the environmental review process, the Port Authority aims to be prepared to swiftly advance the project once final regulatory approvals are obtained. This segment of the project entails the construction of the Bus Storage and Staging Facility and Ramp Structure as part of the multi-year Midtown Bus Terminal Replacement Program. The Request for Statements of Qualifications (RFSQ) aims to identify and shortlist prequalified firms for the subsequent Request for Proposals (RFP) phase of the procurement process.
