The Translink in Ireland has issued prior information notice (PIN) for a master development opportunity near Weavers Cross in Belfast. 

Weavers Cross is an opportunity to develop 1.3 plus million sq.ft. of a mixed-use development on an 8-acre site with a gross development value in the region of GBP 400 million (US$ 526.30 million). Right in the thriving heart of Belfast, the site is within a few minutes’ walk of the commercial, retail, and hospitality centre of Northern Ireland’s capital city.

Located at the center of Weavers Cross itself will be Translink’s new 15 000 m² Transport Hub - a high-tech focal point for bus, rail and active travel, it will act as a catalyst for energy and growth, connecting people from all over the island and providing a gateway to all major airports.

The contract notice for the project is expected to be issued on February 01, 2021.
