PIN issued for Two residential sites PPP project in London

London Legacy Development Corporation in the UK has launched a Prior Information Notice (PIN) for the development of two residential sites with 570 housing units. The selected sites are Rick Roberts Way and Aquatics Triangle Development. The private partner is expected to provide services such as secure planning permissions, construction, disposal and management.

The two sites include the following characteristics:

  1. Rick Roberts Way site is located southeast of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (QEOP) fronting Stratford High Street and extends to 18.5 ha. It will have 450 housing units out of which 76% should be affordable housing. The site will also feature 3 ha of open space.
  2. Aquatics Triangle site is located south of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (QEOP) fronting Stratford High Street and extends to 1.5 ha. It will have 120 housing units out of which 50% would be affordable housing.

The estimated total value for the residential project is GBP200 million (US$271.1 million). The contract notice is expected to be published on April 29, 2022.
